Ehtta
EHTTA’s European network was created in 2009 and today involves 30 historic thermal towns which have developed architectural elements that are specific to their history, tradition, environment and related to health and leisure of customers and visitors. EHTTA’s members have joined together in order to implement a policy of tourist development based on a strategy of promoting this rich cultural heritage. We believe that Europe’s unique thermal heritage deserves to be better known.
EHTTA is a non-profit association based on the need to encourage, protect and enhance the thermal, artistic and cultural heritage throughout Europe.
The main objectives of the association are:
- To create a strong network of partnerships between towns and spas, promoting exchanges of experience among the different cultural operators of the cities
- To promote the system at European level involving the institutions through support of European programs, in order to create a European spa trail and to complete the established programs
- To encourage, promote and develop analytical research and statistics within the spa industry, focusing primarily on the history and artistic heritage, cultural, legal and legislative aspects linked to it.
